Polara “Moving Push” Buttons

Our Moving Push Buttons are a 2" style ADA compliant button that has a longer life than typical micro switches and is resistant to vandalism. The buttons use a solid state piezo switch that is protected against moisture, has a rated life in the tens of millions of activation (100 million minimum) and is extremely reliable. Most importantly our switches "time out" so they cannot be made to "stick on".

  • High Temperature dimensional stability.
  • Chemical resistance to gasoline and oils.

  • High impact strength at temperatures down to -40°F (-40°C).
  • Also available in H-Mount style compatible body.

  • Bearing Material: Black Nylon
  • Maximum Temperature: 170°F (77°C)
  • Maximum Intermittent Temperature: 355°F (179°C)
  • Low coefficient of friction
  • Chemical resistant
  • Good abrasion resistance
  • High strength

    • 303 Stainless Steel, Passivated

Polara Push Button Cup

PBC-X is a polycorbonate cup for mounting our polycarbonate buttons to a pole or flat surface. These cups are molded from the same polycarbonate material as our buttons, so colors can be matched or mixed. Their strength and durability match that of our buttons.

Pelco Button Spacer

Polara Pelco Button Spacer

Polara manufactures an adapter that allows any of our round buttons to fit a round Pelco or Tico button mount.

Tamper Resistant Hardware

Spanner Head Tamper Resistant Screw Sets and Spanner Head Bits are an option to the standard Philips head screws supplied with each button. They are very nominally priced and help prevent theft in high vandalism situations.
