One of the many advancements made in today's traffic intersection control technology has been the emergence of the LED traffic signal. This rapidly growing technology affords its users energy efficiency, reliability and longer life compared to the incandescent technology it is replacing. As a result, power failure interruptions need not be a concern anymore.

The SH1200UR offers the most advanced technology to provide the ultimate in reliability, safety and system performance for LED traffic intersections. In the event utility power fails, the SH1200UR automatically detects the failure and instantly becomes a quality power source utilizing true sine wave technology that is identical or better than your utility. All this, without interruption to your traffic control system.

The fully programmable front display panel enables the user to monitor and control important data and alarms without the use of computer hardware. Additionally, the SH1200UR offers, as standard, the most advanced transient voltage surge suppression available. Furthermore, our non-MOV system eliminates failures and fires within the “TVSS”. The SH1200UR does not shunt disturbance current to the ground system, which can disturb your critical application.

At the heart of any battery back-up power system is, of course, the reliability of the battery, as it is the most likely component to deteriorate and fail over time. The SH1200UR utilizes parallel technology for redundant battery reliability, which enhances our system's reliability in the event of a battery failure as our system can still provide power to the UPS. Unlike other systems, the SH1200UR utilizes a parallel connected battery system offering multi-level redundancy, insuring system operation.
