About Advanced Traffic Products

A trusted partner in providing safe and efficient traffic management solutions since 1993

Our Mission

Since 1993 our mission continues to be the most respected company in the traffic products industry. We only carry the most innovative, highest quality products and technology, designed to improve safety and efficiency. Our sales and technical team are trusted advisors, each with over 10 years of experience.  ATP is a customer-first company and is well-positioned to navigate the traffic challenges of the future.

Our History

In 1993 Advanced Traffic Products was selected to be the Distributor for 3M Traffic Control Devices (TCD). ATP introduced a new concept to the traffic industry by not representing a controller line and focusing on customer visits to all traffic and fire departments. With the support of Steve Amend, the local 3M representative, ATP soon became 3M’s largest TCD distributor and also added Alaska to our territory. The company grew from the original three employees to six by 1994.

By 1997 ATP was well established and continued to hold the number one position with 3M TCD.  3M then selected ATP as their dealer for Northern California, Colorado and Wyoming. Having grown to twelve employees and covering ten states, this is the year ATP became a distributor for Dialight, the industry-leading LED pedestrian and traffic signal manufacturer.

Growth continued in 1999 with the addition of Polara, an innovative and virtually indestructible line of pedestrian push buttons. 2002 was the year ATP became the distributor for Wavetronix, a revolutionary radar technology, setting a new standard for vehicle detection and the employee count expanded to 15.

Arizona and Nevada joined the ATP territory map in 2009 along with two more employees. ATP moved in 2013 from its original location to its own office building in Everett, WA. Currently, ATP has 17 employees across 12 states and distributes the most innovative, dependable, state-of-the-art product lines in the traffic industry.
